Q:  There is a chance the company I work for may close down - I am diabetics - how can I get coverage?

A:  If your employer closes down and they cancel their group health policy, you will not be eligible for COBRA continuation.  Your state may offer a health plan to residents when COBRA is not available and you have pre-existing conditions that may prevent you from finding other health insurance. You can visit www.naic.org  to see if you are eligible or for in an Alternative to COBRA, Click Here for more information.
