Q:  I have a number of problems in my foot that my podiatrist says will eventually require surgery.. If I put off the surgery to correct the problem, and attempt to receive coverage for it under COBRA, would it be covered?

A: COBRA is a continuation of the same benefits you have now.  If your group plan will provides coverage for the surgery before the COBRA qualifying event then it will be covered after you elect COBRA.  You should contact your health insurance company for benefit information.
