Q:I applied for COBRA in March 2008, but I haven't paid for the coverage because it was too expensive. I would like to obtain my account info so that I can cancel it for good and start a new program.
A:If you applied for your COBRA coverage in March of 2008 and have not made a payment, chances are your coverage has already been cancelled.You should check on the status of your coverage either way by contacting your COBRA administrator or your previous employer’s human resources department.
