Q:  I work full time for a company and have so for 1 1/2 years, I am thinking of leaving and going to another company will I be covered under Cobra? My current insurance consists of Medical, Dental and Vision coverage.  If I had those benefits prior to leaving my employer will I be offered vision and dental under cobra. Thank you

A:  If you decide to leave your company you can choose to sign up for medical, dental, and vision as long as you were enrolled in the plans on the day you decide to leave the company.  You can choose any combination of benefits; if you sign up for one benefits you are not required to take the rest.

A lot of people I talk to sign up for a more affordable Alternative to COBRA, click here for more information.
