Q:  If a person loses job because company goes out of business will employees be able to obtain continued health insurance under COBR law with another insurance company. Will they be eligible for help with payment under the new bill which will be signed by the president.

A:  We are Cobrainsurance.com, we offer more affordable Cobra alternative plans.  We are not affiliated to the Federal Government.  If you are looking for information on the stimulus package and how it will affect your Cobra coverage, you should contact the Federal Department of Labor, they regulate the COBRA law.

However, if a company closes, cobra would not be an option.  There has to be a group health plan in place in order to continue the cobra.  We provide cobra alternative plans.  To access a quote, please click on the link.
