Q:I had CIGNA insurance and I was laid off and offered COBRA insurance for 18 months. Will Cobra use CIGNA as my insurance carrier or some other company?
A:When you elected to use COBRA you just opted to continue your same coverage as when employed.It will be the same insurance provider and exactly the same coverage.If you have any further questions contact your companies HR department and they can help you with any further questions you my have.
