Q:  When you terminate your job, is the employer obligated to give to you the remaining HRA balance. Any money left in your HRA when you leave employment, is the employer required to offer the HRA with COBRA, based on the contribution amounts prior to the qualifying event?

A:  Unfortunately the HRA stays with the employer.  It is the employer’s funds.  If you have any further questions try contacting your plan administer for more information.
