Q:  Is it possible to elect Cobra coverage after 60 days. I never received the paperwork in the mail and was hoping to be able to elect it now. My insurance ended on 12/31/08. Please let me know as soon as you can. Thanks so much.

A:  Because you have not received your paperwork you should contact your previous employer.  By law they have 45 days to send that information to you.  You should contact them and see why you never received it, its possible Cobra was not an option.
