Q:  I am currently employed but only getting 12 hours a week with benefits I considering a temporary position which will give me 40 hours a week but no benefits. If I leave my other position, can I qualify for COBRA insurance?

A:  Cobra most likely would be an option to you.  As long as that employer has more than 20 employees and a group health plan is still in effect.  Cobra is a federal law that allows you to continue your coverage through a previous employer.
