Q:  My question is if I have a preexisting condition will it be covered. I hurt my upper back a long time ago. About 9 years. Every once in a while it flames up and hurts. If I go to the doctors and they need to put me on medication or chiropractic care or anything else will it be covered? Thanks for your help I really appreciate it.

A:  If you are on or are looking into one of our plans, it would not be covered.  Our plans do not cover pre-existing health conditions.  If you are on COBRA then it’s the same coverage you had when you were working and were on the group health plan.  Therefore your condition would be covered.
