Q:  I quit my job due to an abusive boss. Several people at the company voluntarily wrote letters acknowledging the abuse I endured. These letters were instrumental in qualifying me for unemployment. Can I get Cobra Stimulus help due to these circumstances?

A:  As far as my understand goes, to qualify for the stimulus you would have had to have been involuntarily terminated.  However due to the circumstances I would recommend you contact the State Department of Insurance to see what grounds you have as far as the reduction to your Cobra coverage.  Your Cobra coverage comes through your previous employer so you are going to have to go through them to get the Cobra packet as far as signing up for that are concerned, as well as often times they verify if you are eligible for the stimulus package.
