Q:  Can I still get COBRA insurance if I did not fill out the form with 60 days of receiving? How long can I wait to decide if I want the COBRA insurance? If I lost the form that I need to fill out do I need to contact the HR department from my previous employer?

A:  As far as I am aware, you had 60 days to opt to take the Cobra coverage.  If you are past that time frame, you need to contact your previous employer to see if you are eligible for a second enrollment period.  You may or may not be eligible to enroll.
