Q:  Are unmarried domestic partners eligible for COBRA coverage if they are covered under a group health insurance plan? Thank you.

A: .  Domestic partners are NOT defined as a Qualified Beneficiary under COBRA law.  So, employers do not have to offer COBRA continuation to an employee's domestic partner.
