Q:I am a bartender and am not eligible for dental insurance. I have never had cobra before and was wondering if I would be eligible for cobra dental? If so, how do I apply? And how much would it cost?
A:Cobra isn’t a company that you can just sign up for coverage through; it’s a law that allows you to continue your benefits after you have lost them through an employer.There fore it doesn’t sound like you are eligible for Cobra, you would have to find dental coverage on your own through a carrier who offers dental coverage.
