Q:I have Cobra insurance through my former employer through March of next year and was wondering what options were available to me after it expires. Do you offer some sort of extension?
A:If you have been on Cobra for your 18 months on time, I don’t believe you can extend it any further. You would have to talk to your Cobra administrator to verify that but to my knowledge there is no way to extend it any further. You are most likely are going to have to look for your own individual coverage or have a job that offers group benefits.
