Q:  I had a left cornea transplant in Sept 2009 and a right cataract removed in December 2009. Does your temporary coverage cover continuing prescriptions for eye drops?

A:   These short term medical plans we offer do NOT cover pre-existing conditions, but for prescriptions it’s a discount card you would receive.  It is going to give you up to 50% off of generic and up to 15% off of name brand medications.  It does not matter what the medication is for, so it can be for a new illness or an old medication you have been taking because it’s not covered by the plan, its simply a discount you would receive when you take the prescription discount card to the pharmacy.  If you have any further questions, call me directly at 877-279-7959 x 219
