Q:  I have been notified of termination effective April 2nd. Will the government subsidize the Cobra insurance costs?

A:  To be eligible for the Cobra reduction, you have to lose your benefits and be eligible for Cobra before the end of March 2010.  As of right now, the President has made changes to the reduction ending period, but at the moment you have to lose your benefits on or before March 31st.
