Q: If you had both medical and dental coverage while you were employed, do you have to choose both for COBRA when you are terminated?

A:  COBRA is a continuation of health insurance or any benefit that is considered "Medical Care".  This would include dental, vision and prescription drugs.  You have the right to choose only the benefits you need.   You do not have to elect all the coverages available to be eligible for COBRA continuation.
