Q:  I have sent in my acceptance form for cobra. my insurance coverage with Cigna has ended as of July 31. 2007. We have relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah, and I have resumed cancer treatment. Our premium is $474.00 a month, and I believe we have until 9/20/07 to pay it. Do you need my new information, place I live, Doctors I see, etc.?

A:  You need to contact your COBRA plan administrator of your address change.  You can include this with your monthly payment.  Also, you need to let the insurance company be aware that you have moved.  There is a phone number on the back of your insurance ID card that you can call. They will be able to tell you or give you a list of doctors that will accept your insurance in new area.
