Q:  If an employer pays my cobra payments as part of my severance package, is that taxable income to me?

A:  The IRS will have the answer's to those questions for you. You can visit their site at www.irs.gov.   Publication 502 has information about medical and dental expenses, including the health coverage tax credit.
