Q:   If I can't afford the Cobra after 6 months can I replace it with something else before it expires?

A:  Yes, you have the right to cancel your COBRA coverage at anytime.  Most people are not aware they do not have to remain on COBRA for the entire 18 months.  COBRA continuation can be very expensive and there are more affordable options available for people who do not want to pay the high cost of COBRA.
