Q:  I filled out the paperwork to receive the coupons that my former employer is providing, however, I didn't get them back in time to get the one for January '08 postmarked by the last day of December.  Then the New Years holiday occurred. Will this be all right? I will make sure to get the other months mailed in time.

A:  You will need to contact your previous employer or their COBRA plan administrator to find out if your payment will be accpeted  Your employer must provide you with a 30 day grace period when you do not pay your premium on the due date. Any claims submitted during the grace period will be "suspended" and not processed until your COBRA payment has been received.
