Q:  Does it matter how long you work for a company as to whether or not you'll be offered COBRA. Example, do you have to work a designated time amount for a company before resigning and then opting for COBRA?

A:  The amount of time that you are employed does not factor into the eligibility for COBRA.  As long as you have obtained health insurance from your employer you are eligible for the continuation coverage.
