COBRA Subsidy Expires; Unemployed Waiting As the weekend came and went, so did the COBRA subsidy. Many now left to go look for temporary coverage or play a "waiting" game to see if/when the subsidy will be extended once again. Republicans search for a plan to pay for the cost before approving any legislation that will put more money towards a continually increasing national debt.
