paying for company employees

ody ody Q: We are a Korean Company based in Korea that wants to pay for our US citizen employee’s family members’ insurance coverage. The employee is working in Korea but the family members are still in the US.

Questions are: 1.Can the Company make direct payment for the employee’s family members coverage? 2.If the company is allowed to make the payment who will be responsible for the taxes related to the insurance? The company or the family? 3.What is the process for the company to make the payment for the family members?
