Q: I was just offered a job at a new company. Their insurance does not start until my 60th day. My wife is pregnant and I need to make sure she is covered. I am trying to see what the price would be for COBRA during that 60 days. Who can I talk to? I have the option of working my off days at my current employer for part time benefited, but don’t want to kill myself in the process. Can I drop everything on my insurance (ie. vision, dental, life, etc) to make the cost less?
