Husband resigning at age 63; wife with pre-existing condition

ody Q: My husband is resigning at age 63 and I am 62 1/2. If we get Cobra for 18 months, I will need insurance for 10 more months before I turn 65. What happens when COBRA runs out and I need 10 more months of insurance with a pre-existing condition? Do I need to find another insurance company to carry me over to 65 or will COBRA continue my coverage? Or, should I just start out with another insurance company instead of COBRA to carry me into retirement age?
