I was terminated and my employer said I’m not eligible for COBRA. I live in Texas. Besides finding my own insurance, is there anything I can do?
First, you will need to understand what makes you eligible for COBRA.

- Your previous employer must have 20 or more employees
- You must have had the benefit of a group health plan through your employer.
- Your termination must not have been for “gross misconduct.”
