Q: I am starting a new job. My benefits start in a month with the new job. Is it allowable to continue the COBRA coverage for a few months in conjunction with my new benefits? </body

A: A group health plan may terminate coverage early if a qualified beneficiary (you) begins other coverage under another group plan after electing continuation coverage.
