Elevance Health, Inc. is the new name for Anthem, Inc., effective June 28, 2022. The company is a for-profit U.S. health benefits enterprise based in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Elevance operates through affiliated Blue Cross Blue Shield brands and other subsidiaries that offer medical, pharmacy, dental, behavioral health, long-term care, and disability services. It serves tens of millions of members across many states and is one of the largest health benefit providers within the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association.
